Analytics data is anonymised and does not identify individuals. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time — this will not affect your ability to use our booking forms.

1. Acceptance of terms
By using ByteRoute's website, booking a service, signing a contract, or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Home & residential services
- All services are flat-rate as published. Price is confirmed via WhatsApp before any visit is booked.
- A R300 deposit is required to confirm every booking. This deposit is deducted from the final invoice.
- Cancellation within 4 hours of the scheduled visit forfeits the R300 deposit.
- The balance due is payable on completion before the technician leaves the premises.
- ByteRoute's 7-day callback guarantee applies to the specific problem addressed during the visit. It does not cover new or unrelated issues arising after the visit.
- ByteRoute is not responsible for data loss arising from hardware failure discovered during a visit, unless a separate data backup service was contracted.
3. Managed Network & security services (MSSP)
- MSSP services are governed by a separate Managed Services Agreement (MSA) signed by both parties.
- The MSA sets the specific SLA response times, scope, pricing, and termination terms for your contract.
- ByteRoute reduces security risk — it does not guarantee the elimination of all cyber threats or incidents.
- Total liability under any MSSP contract is capped at three months' fees paid prior to the claim event.
4. Corporate training
- Corporate training is governed by a separate Corporate Training Agreement signed before delivery.
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm a corporate booking. Remainder is due on or before the first training day.
- Cancellation 10+ business days prior: full deposit refund. 5–9 days: 50% refund. Under 5 days: no refund.
- All training materials are ByteRoute intellectual property. Reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.
5. Student training
- Student enrolment is governed by the Student Enrolment Agreement signed at registration.
- ByteRoute certificates of completion confirm completion of the course — they are not International certifications or NQF rated.
- ByteRoute does not guarantee exam pass rates. International examination content is controlled by the vendor and Testing center.
- Minimum 80% attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion.
6. Payments and pricing
- All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added on invoices once ByteRoute is VAT registered.
- Invoices are due within 30 days unless otherwise stated in a signed contract.
- Late payment may result in suspension of services after 15 days' written notice.
- ByteRoute does not accept responsibility for incorrect payments made to fraudulent accounts. Always verify banking details by phone before transferring funds.
Fraud alert: ByteRoute will never change its banking details via email or WhatsApp without a phone call confirmation. If you receive a banking detail change notification, call us immediately on +27 68 309 0950 before transferring any funds.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteRoute's total liability to any client shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. ByteRoute is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption — except where caused by ByteRoute's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, diagrams, service descriptions, training materials, and course content — is the intellectual property of ByteRoute Networking & Security (Pty) Ltd. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
